Before “deck-lights” was even a searchable word on the internet, Highpoint Deck Lighting has been there from the beginning.

Deck Lighting? What’s that, you may at one time asked yourself?

Well, that’s the same question that prompted and brought forth Highpoint Deck Lighting into the growing and successful company which you find before you today.

Since 1998, Lighting Pioneer Jonathan Davis has been designing and building High-end custom decks in the Denver Front Range Rocky Mountain Region in Colorado. Soon after the formation of his very successful deck business; Highpoint Decks, Jon was asked to offer lighting options to compliment his custom beautiful deck creations.

Let there be light Jon! When turning to landscape lighting companies, little to no options were found there. When he turned to the “Big Box Stores” what did he find? Cheap corrosive metals with painted on finishes that would not withstand the intense Colorado U.V Rays under the Mile High Sun. Nor were their designs complimentary to the beautiful and unique decks he was producing. Visually, durably, and ineffective at a cost and maintenance standpoint, these fixtures were falling short!

Highpoint Deck Lighting logic: If you are paying thousands of dollars to bring added value to your home by building a custom deck, And have a twenty-five year warranty on most of your decking materials and on your labor. Does it truly make sense to offer your client only a 1 year- limited warranty on your lighting fixtures?

The answer was obvious, we didn’t think so either!

In light of all of this ……. In January 2004, Highpoint Deck Lighting, LLC was born!
